Mon Seifert was born in Sweden and grew up in a family of artists.
She attended High School in Stockholm and has been living at lake Ammersee, Germany, since 1988.

“All my life I have been involved in the arts. For several years now I have been fascinated by the process of portrait painting. In order to genuinely portray the individuality it is crucial for me to meet with the “model” in their environment.
